The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.

Core Values:
Sanctity of Human Life

Human rights education is based on the values of:

We value the sanctity of human life.

We believe that each individual life is sacred, and should be treated as such. Life should be celebrated and protected. Love for each other, and the belief in the inherent value of human life, serves as the basis for providing all children with loving care and human rights education.

The belief that human life is sacred requires moral consistency. Life cannot be sacred for some, but not for others. We are called to celebrate all life. We are called to do what all that is possible to prevent the misery of all. Each and every individual life is to be treated as a sacred joy.

Our work is not finished until human rights are fully realized by all persons, at which time the sanctity of each human life will be respected by all, for all.

love > respect and dignity > sanctity of human life
